The Beacon Service App is a productivity app developed exclusively for employees of Alliance SwissPass transport companies. With this app you have full control over the maintenance and management of the Bluetooth beacons used in your transport infrastructure.Main functions:• Install beacon: The app guides you step-by-step through the process of installing beacons in your transport vehicles. You will receive clear instructions and visualizations to ensure that the installation is carried out properly.• Control Beacon: Monitor the status and performance of your beacons in real time. Get detailed information about battery level, signal strength and other relevant parameters. In the event of deviations or problems, you can take immediate action to ensure your beacons function smoothly.• Replace beacon: If a beacon needs to be replaced, the app supports you in seamlessly integrating the new beacon. Just follow the instructions to disable the old beacon and install the new beacon.• Firmware update: Keep your beacons up to date by performing firmware updates directly from the app. This feature allows you to take advantage of new features and improvements to continuously improve the performance and reliability of your beacons.Special features:• Free app: The Beacon Service App is available for employees of the Alliance SwissPass transport companies to download and use free of charge.• A login with Microsoft Azure or an SBB e-account is required for use. If you have any questions about logging in, contact the person responsible for beacons in your company.• After logging in, you can use all functions without restrictions to optimize the maintenance of your beacons.• Integrated video recognition functionality: Simply scan the QR code on the beacon and the UIC number in a train car with your smartphones camera to enable quick identification and assignment.• Simple and user-friendly handling: The app was developed with a focus on simple operation and intuitive design.
